Our driveway gates are fabricated from steel and then hot-dip galvanised, including every cut edge of the pattern, so there is no exposed metal to rust. They are then powder coated in your chosen colour. Everything is made in the UK for the UK climate and, once fitted, needs no painting or sealing.

Measure the clear opening between your pillars, walls or where the posts will go, in millimetres. Take the measurement at the top, middle and bottom and enter the smallest of the three. If you're having posts supplied, measure the full width you want the gate and posts to fill. We allow for the hinge and centre gaps, so you only need to give us the overall opening.

Gates are available in four heights (3ft, 4ft, 5ft and 6ft) and are made to any width from 1800mm up to 7500mm. Openings over 6000mm carry an additional charge for the heavier construction required. If you need something outside this range, contact us about a bespoke gate.

All our driveway gates are supplied as a pair of leaves that meet in the centre. A drop bolt is available as an option to hold the fixed leaf in place when the gate is closed. If you need a single-leaf gate for a side entrance or path, see our pedestrian gates.

Six powder-coated finishes are available: Anthracite Grey RAL 7016, Black RAL 9005, Chocolate Brown RAL 8017, Cream RAL 9001, Grey RAL 7037 and White RAL 9003. The finish is applied in the factory over the galvanised steel, so there is nothing to paint when the gate arrives, now or in the future.

Every gate comes with hinges and a stainless steel Locinox lock and handle set as standard, available in a black or silver finish to match your gate. Two keys are supplied. A drop bolt can be added as an option.

If you have brick pillars or walls that are structurally sound, the gate can be hung directly from them; choose Existing walls/pillars when ordering. If you don't, choose one of our post options: Above ground posts bolt down onto a concrete base with a base plate, and Below ground posts are concreted into the ground for a new installation.

This only applies when you order posts. Inner mounting hangs the gate between the posts. Rear mounting hangs the gate behind the posts, which leaves a smaller gap between the post and the edge of each leaf and gives a cleaner line when viewed from the front.

Yes, our steel gates are suitable for automation. Please contact us before ordering with the details of the automation kit you intend to use, and we will make any arrangements needed to the frame so the motors can be fitted. We do not supply automation kits ourselves.

All our gates are made to order in the UK. The current lead time is 3 to 6 weeks from order to delivery, and we'll confirm a delivery date once your gate is in production. Please see the checkout and delivery page for up-to-date time frames.

Yes, if you're a competent DIYer. The leaves are steel and heavy, so you will definitely need a helping hand to lift and hang them. Gates hung from existing pillars or above-ground posts can be fitted in a day; below-ground posts need to be set in concrete and left to cure before the gate is hung. We recommend a professional installer for automated gates.
